We use the Calor lightweight cylinders.
It has a gauge on it which tells you how full it is.
My question is.......do you read the gauge when standing alone or when it is connected to caravan?
Does it make any difference?
I am actually thinking of puting regulator on as I find using the spanner very hard and tricky.
I would have to change the bottle type, but think I should be able to do that?
I know this is an old topic, but whats the deal with these bottles now, anyone? I've just bought a 'van with one fitted. Can you get them refilled, or is it just swap for a 'regular' now?
Some places still have the Lite ones, if not you can swap for a steel one.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I'm sure you probably meant, "can you get refilled Calor Lites" but for anyone else out there new to this topic and thought of refilling old bottles, You shouldn't attempt to refill 'ordinary' gas bottles, by that I mean ones that are swapped for full ones. They don't have an 80% maximum fill, cut-off mechanism fitted internally that proper refillable ones have.

Yes, i meant get a full replacement 'lite'. Obviously its the luck of the draw depending where i went, by the look of things. I don't really have a weight issue for towing, so the 'lite' was more of a bonus for lifting about.
Thanks for the replies.
