Just picked up a Gtech K9 pro for use at home and in the caravan. We have a German Shepherd who only sheds once a year, but it lasts for 365 days. This vacuum dismantles into small components and is very light so should be fine for taking in the van. It is however not cheap! We have found the K9 series to be first class at hoovering up dog hair. I wouldn't pay this much just to use in the van however.

Hi

I'm quite keen on the Gtech K9, We also have a German Shephard, he is black and sheds all of the time. I'm just considering the multi K9 as we have a Henry at home. Have you also purchased the car kit as I'm going to use this for the campervan, caravan and car? Or is it unnecessary?

We go away to relax, not to hoover, but are delighted with out Gtech Air Ram.

Because the upright bit is telescopic, it would take up very little room in the wardrobe of our MH, were we minded to take it for a holiday.

We have used it on the MH, but only for a clean up when we get back.

Sorry to be so late replying. No I didn't bother with the car kit. It seems a bit overpriced to me and it looks like one of the car kit brushes, the small circular one, already comes with the vacuum, or one almost the same.
