As the title suggests, I'm in the market for a Specialized towing cover for our new van. I was going to order one today but the boss suggested that as we're going to the NEC in October, it might be an idea to wait until then and see if we can get a deal.
Does anyone have experience of buying from Specialized at a show and is it worth waiting or if no deals are normal should I just get it now?
We bought one from specialized covers at the N EC but not sure if it was cheaper. We did however collect it from their factory which is near to where we live and were very impressed with their factory, it was immaculate and so organised. Saying that we only used the cover over one winter so really was a waste of money. They are a quality product but not that easy to put on and take off.
Thanks for your replies, I appreciate that.
I had a universal cover for our old Elddis and after the first few dismal attempts I managed to get it fitted no bother, so hopefully the same will be true of the Specialized ones. Time will tell on that score I suppose.
I'm guessing that because of the popularity of their products they wouldn't need to be too generous at show time. It'll just be a matter of whether I have the patience to wait until October or whether I get too concerned about the front of the new van.
Knowing my luck I'll decide to wait, then get a stone through the front window and be kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
Or not use the caravan until then? Aye, right!
