Bought a brenderup 1205s with extended sides.
Ordered a spare tyre for it, can any jack lift the trailer say a sissors jack?

Also we are going be loading up with camping gear so wanting to try and keep it as dry as possible. currently just has a tarp over the top. Worried about the gaps between the original and extended sides, look at a longer tarp to go to lower ties but it's £200 which I can't do yet. Anyone with any experience of water proofing. Thanks

I have the same model trailer with the hard top lid. When travelling with all our fishing equipment in we found that it was regularly wet in poor weather conditions. I dismantled the extension sides and ran clear silicone mastic all along each edge and then re-fitted the sides. To water proof under the lid I purchased from Ebay some self adhesive rubber automobile door sealant. Since completing the work earlier this year no water has got into the trailer.

Thanks what did you do with the ends that fold down? we tend to fold down both ends to load and unload.

Years ago we had a Franc metal trailer with hardtop. Our main issue towing in the wet was water ingress at the bottom of the trailer caused by the spray off the road.
If you can, try and seal the joints on the underside.

The front end is totally sealed and can't be folded as the hard top is connected to it. The rear of the trailer has the door seal along the hinged lower section and between the upper and lower sections. I felt that most of the water was being forced into the trailer from the car when travelling in wet conditions.
