But then the front of your tent will be facing out on to a wet, soggy patch of mud? Cant you just have a stand up wash inside the tent usung a trug, bath mat and a flannel?
The tent has a side door, the only way I'd use the front door like this.I've tried many ways of washing while camping, and so far my own personal shower looks to be my favourite.
Do you use campsites without facilities?
I'm just wondering about all that water sloshing immediately in front of your tent...I guess you could always have a mud-bath after a day or two!

No I don't,they have wonderful facilities. But it would be nice to have private facilities that are exclusive to me.I hate having to walk any distance across a campsite on a hot summers day to have a shower, and then get so hot on the way back I need a shower again.
If you read back a few posts we have the mud problem sorted out with a doggy paddling pool.

But those doggy paddling pools are only rigid when they have water in them, so you'd have to bucket the waste water out of one and tip it away somewhere. Then, after doing that, you'd need another shower...😉

That's something I can solve by myself.Still no one has answered the original question 'what material should I use and how to join it together without stitching?'
Does it have to be permanent? Personally id go for the simple option of three shower curtains (stitch together to make one long one if you so desire), and clip to the edge of tent door flap using bull dog clips.
Pitch closer to the facilities! No long walk, no hassle trying to rig the enclosure, tipping the waste water out and where are you going to tip it out. The campsite and indeed your neighbours, won't appreciate waste shower water tipped out at your pitch.

Semi-permanent (isn't that an oxymoron?).I've decided to make it from tarpaulin (I seem to be hoarding them),just got an eyelet making kit and some proper tarp tape is on the way.

As I said before, the original question was what do I make it from and how do I make it without stitching.I can sort out what to do with the waste water without any problems.
