Is the cushioned carpet suitable for hard standings, please? Have recently bought a Kampa rally air 260 and fancy something a bit more comfortable to walk on, on hardstandings.
We have a Kampa Rally Air 260 and use the Kampa carpet. Yes you can feel stones through if you intend to walk about bare foot but otherwise I can recommend it.

Sometimes a little rain must fall before you reach a rainbow.
The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you finish the work.
We have the ace air 400 and the carpet to match, it's ok on hardstanding, but you can feel some stones through it. Tried using a breathable groundsheet under it, but it was worse as it slipped around when not pegged down.

Hi Lin M, we have the cushioned carpet, we always put a old under sheet when on hard standings, better to do this than have holes .
Just come back from the Lake District and the hard standing was sharp edged slate like 'shale', I use a cheapy Lidl awning carpet (think you'll find it's much the same as very expensive 'branded' ones) in my Kampa 330 awning. Having cleared the big lumps away before laying the carpet it was not too uncomfortable walking around barefoot, certainly wouldn't have done so on the uncarpeted stones!
My chairs don't have tubular legs, but rest on bars with quite broad feet, they didn't do any damage to the carpet.
