Hi, can anyone help me with a problem with my cooker? I bought a new campinggaz cooker (camping chef folding elite) about a year ago and never used it, when I got it out I broke the elbow connector that is screwed and cemented on to the cooker. I now need another. Can any one tell me where I can get one or the size and the thread that fits it?
Thanks

Personally from what you have described I would put that item in the bin and buy a new one.

That is supposed to take a lots of force as the hose and regulator hang off it in transit. Get in touch with Campingaz Customer Services Dept. although the stove may be outside the guarantee period this is part of the stoves safety structure and should be strong, you should be covered by consumer protection law.

If you have to replace the stove get one from the Campingaz Xcelerate range, I like mine, it is tough and powerful, although I've broken the catch.

I have been looking at the Xcelerate 400, is the handle as flimsy as they say?
Thanks for posting.

Thanks

We have had the camping chef stove for several years now and it’s had a lot of use, at least 8 weeks a year plus several weekends. The elbow connector you mention is solid as a rock so if yours broke, that suggests to me something faulty rather than just accidental damage. I can’t imagine how you could accidentally break one! I would get in touch with Campingaz and see what they say.

If you look at the last page of the instruction manual which you can see here, it says it has a two year warranty so you may be able to get it replaced. https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/A1Esi7fAEjS.pdf
