Hi,anyone know where you can get clothes hangers that stay on rails when towing,sick of having a pile of crushed clothes when arriving at a site,cheers guys.

We use pipe insulation foam on the hanging rails, it works 99.9% of the time.

Try putting elastic bands over the hook, put hanger on rail and then move elastic band from underneath to catch the end of the hook.
Obviously needs to be good fit!

We use the lightweight hangers covered with a ‘flock’ finish, nothing falls off.

I remember reading once (probably on here somewhere) that if you hang them facing in alternating directions it stops them coming off. I can't profess to understand the physics behind this theory and having never had this particular issue I've never put it to the test. But give it a go it might work!!

I read this on here too and tried it. On the whole most hangers stayed put. Bit of a faff as I like all my hangers to face same way😆 but it seems to work so hey ho!

Clip the old fashioned wooden style spring loaded clothes peg each side of the clothes on the hangers. Push the hangers together before clipping on the clothes pegs.
Been doing it for years and works a treat.

We had this problem and asked about it somewhere online. Someone gave us the tip to hang the hangers from the back to the front of the rail so that the open part of the hook is facing towards you rather than away from you. We were a bit dubious but tried it anyway and nothing has come off the rail since.

I rolled none slip matting around the rail - glued it in place. Works a treat.

if you use shower curtain hangers and then put your clothes hangers thr them I find that they stay put
