Won't it be a bugger to get up there to watch it though?

XVI yes?

As well is two words!

We initially had a dome for about 2 years, but found that on occasions it would not work and you cannot see what is obstructing the signal. We changed to a 85cm dish and no more issues and a perfect picture.

Good advice iank01. Hope the OP takes note.

I would also further advise that the dish be mounted on a tripod together with approx 25m of satellite cable(s) for those occasions when the OP needs to position the dish even further from his pitch.

Just to add that our dish is amounted on the caravan as got tired of setting up the dish in the rain. Now just press a button and it is all done for us.

Whatever floats yer boat as they say,    however, have you ever had an occasion where your dish just can’t get clear line of sight to the satellite (SW) from anywhere on your pitch? (perhaps due to trees etc.).

Do you change pitch, change site or buy a good book?

P.S. Just noticed that you are located in Worcestershire iank01. I spent the first 30 years of my life in Worcester! - Small world!

To date we have never had that issue either in the UK or France. I tend to use Earth Google to check the site first. Generally we go onto a pitch that looks fairly clear of trees in a southward direction. before actually pitching the caravan, we press the button, check for reception and if okay we set up. If not we find another pitch. So far no need for the latter.
Previously we had a Satfi dome which could work down as far as Valencia, but we had to be careful of where we pitched.
