We initially had a dome for about 2 years, but found that on occasions it would not work and you cannot see what is obstructing the signal. We changed to a 85cm dish and no more issues and a perfect picture.

Good advice iank01. Hope the OP takes note.
I would also further advise that the dish be mounted on a tripod together with approx 25m of satellite cable(s) for those occasions when the OP needs to position the dish even further from his pitch.

however, have you ever had an occasion where your dish just can’t get clear line of sight to the satellite (SW) from anywhere on your pitch? (perhaps due to trees etc.).
