Can anyone recommend a battery powered or rechargeable lantern that has a low light setting so it can be left on overnight? The kids are still too young to awake in the night and be unable to see anything. Whilst it would only have to give 'comfort' lighting I can see it preventing a whole campsite being disturbed.
A lot of people recommend glowsticks as nightlights for children. You could always leave the light on in the living area instead of the bedroom,if you cant get one with a low setting. We used to take a small table lamp and leave that on in the living area when ours were little, but we had ehu.
A small torch placed inside an upside down plastic bowl works wonders as a nightlight for kids. I used one. try it at home first to get the right bowl. if needed rop one edge of the bowl up to allow some direct light out.
we also bought solar powered lanterns from focus diy, and they are great for a glow at night....the hours of fun i had with them in the house.....turn the big light on and they go out.....put big light off and they came on like magic......lol....so easily pleased....lol
