Does anyone have any recommendations for a waterproof gazebo, ideally looking at 3x3 or 4x4.

Hi .. Argos currently have a MAXIMUS gazebo on sale for £140.This includes the sides. As group campers-we are always experimenting with different set-ups regarding gazebos as we like to sit out and enjoy each others company with a few beers and some meat!
Our best result to date has been a couple of half decent gazebos with strategically placed sides and a tarp over the top . All well anchored of course!!!
You can go onto professional grade gazebos for big money and they will fill your car boot. It depends what you want from it really-- a weekend shelter outside your tent or a wedding venue?
Personally--I prefer a tarp with telescopic aluminium poles surrounded by a windbreak..doesnt take a lot of space when packed down.Very versatile too..over the back of your car--attached to your tent or free standing.I would recommend DD HAMMOCKS for a tarp if interested.
Fro my experience so far -I would say dont buy a cheap gazebo or shortly after you will be buying another more expensive model

We used to use an easycamp day tent before we bought a caravan. We used it in France for 5 summer holidays in the same way you would use a gazebo but the guy ropes made it very secure when pegged out compared to a standard gazebo. The sides could be zipped closed or rolled up or propped up on canopy poles so it was very versatile.

Apologies, I created the topic in haste without a lot of detail.

We currently have a very good cheap one that we bought in France from Gifi.
We are now looking for a good waterproof one to go over a hot tub. I think it will possibly need to come from a specialist gazebo manufacturer.
