I have the v-multi from Vodafone which costs me £2 per month. I haven't looked at using it as a logger.   I have it attached to a hidden usb socket so don't need to take it out to charge it. I get quite a few false positives re movement but the app quickly shows if the vans moved or I can look out the window. The tracking is good though.   I surprise the Mrs when I tell her where she's been.
