Thanks to all the advice here, we are abandoning our high sided airbed and have bought the Outwell posadas double. With the bar in the middle. Would like to ask for some advice on what size/ type sim to get to put on top? Two singles? A double and if so which one? We are both normal weight and want to get the best option for comfort? I see some doubles with a divider but Im not sure if that offers any real comfort or just keeps the two sides together. Grateful for ideas and real life experiences! Tent is huge and height is not an issue. Thanks 😊

We have an Outwell Posadas campbed too, and use an Outwell double SIM - it has a split down the middle which goes over the bar in the middle of the campbed perfectly.
We find the bed to be really comfortable, so much better than our old airbed.

Which one was it ? Sleepin? And what depth would you recommend.

Thanks!!

We have the Thermarest Dream Time XL’s that fasten together to make a large double bed, you don’t even notice the join when set up.

Only problem is that I have yet to find a camp bed with a large enough base to accommodate the two DT XL’s.

But I have no regrets bought the DT’s back in 2008 and they show virtually no signs of any wear, well worth the money.

The DT’s did go EOL for a year or two, but there is now a new updated version available, although not far of double the price we paid back in 2008, but I guess that is to be expected.

Terwri I think it is a Sleepin, 3cm depth. Comfortable enough but I reckon 5cm would be even better!

Thank you. I see there is a 7.5cm too. May go see it at a camping store as I would be worried it might fall off!
