Built my own battery monitor from an Arduino pro mini £2.14 and a bluetooth module £1.97 and an LM2596 voltage dropper £1.42, INA219 £2.10 (oddly expensive).
at Grampian91 this sounds like an excellent idea. I've been searching the internet for something exactly like this and wondered if you have followed any kind of guide that you could direct me to? I'm not new to electronics or programming although I have mainly used RPi based projects in the past.
I have recently purchased a van and would like to use this for the basis of a battery monitoring system that will eventually be incorporated into a vehicle monitor with GNSS, camera, temp and cloud based data logger - but one step at a time.
