Yep agree with others, the fluffy type microfibre towels are hideous to use, we now have the Lifeadventure type and they are great, they get you dry real quick.
And after washing, pegging them out on the line gets them dry again in an instant, well it does in Frejus during July.

Mine are rubbish! They're the sports-type ones & were from Aldi or Lidl and pretty cheap (which probably explains their uselessness!).

I still use them for camping because they are so lightweight, take up little space and are easy to dry...but they aren't very absorbant and take a lot of patting/rubbing to get you dry.

My son describes them as "a squeegee for your body" 😂

Hi,

It might be a good idea to check the label, description. I’m pretty sure that a genuine “Microfibre” cloths or towels must have Polyamide content. I have mixes from 14% to 30%, the 30% were more expensive.

There are also fake ones out there to tempt you, don’t ask :(

On first use I noticed the difference immediately, they can absorb so much more water that normal fabric.

Dan.
