I usually check the firmness of the tubes by squeezing them.
We initially had a problem with the front beam losing pressure. This was rectified by tightening the collar and being extra careful not to cross-thread the valve when putting it back before inflation.

Yes it looks as if it should fit ok.
at speaker12, have you ever had any issues with the poles going down a bit if there is a temp change?

Not noticeably. I inflate them to the mid-point of the recommended pressure range to allow for some temperature-related pressure change.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the tips, advice and views.....just been up to go Outdoors and bought one :)
One more question if I may before I put it up tomorrow.

I looked at a few youtube videos on tips for putting up.
When the instructions say, peg out each corner, I am guessing they do mean each far corner, not just the square bit in the middle?

One of the videos said just peg out the square bit, that didn't seem to make sense to me.

Cheers and thanks again

Yes, the four corners. My Airgo has adjustable tension straps attached at the corners and the idea is that you can then tighten them once the tent is inflated to ensure that it is sitting correctly.

There are instructions?

I peg out the two back corners then the two straps where the front beam is. Then I inflate the rear beam and loosely peg a rope to keep it upright. Then inflate the other beams. Then peg everything else out. Then put the pole in for the door porch. Whether this is how you're meant to do it I don't know but it works for me!

Hey guys,

Thanks for all your help, its up :)
Easy to put up, and you said I did it on my own.
The only hassle I had was each time I unscrewed the adapter form the tent tube after blowing it up, part of the adaptor stayed with the tent and so it went down, once I had sussed that it was easy.

Tables, chairs kitchen all fit in, also handy for the two of us being able to fold down one side of the bedroom area.
Luv the big door at the front.

Gosh the rain side door cover pole is it tight fit, but managed to get it in there.

All in all, we are very pleased with it.

We will see how taking it down tomorrow goes, I am letting my nephews sleep in it tonight, they have not been camping (it should be law - all kids must go camping at least once)
I hope they put pressure on mum and dad to take them :)

Thanks again for all your help...

well that was ok taking it down and rolling up, all back in the bag with room for the pump and all the bits and bobs :)
Just got to wait for next year, or perhaps one decent weekend in sept :)
