Hi,
in case anybody remembers me - glad to say without any diy experience, I managed to diy repair the leak at the front window safely all by myself. Back to ask another question: When I bought the caravan used in 2005/6, I never even imagined needing a shower, so I was not listening to the seller's description, but I think I remember there was a place to install a pump etc... only there wasn't one. Now, due to lockdown, I could really use one. Any suggestions - considering budget, inclination to improvise rather than invest big. Have today looked at camping showers on ebay to start me off - one with a bucket and foot pump appeals as does another one with bucket und pump immersed. I also like the alleged solar green bag one but a) can't quite see how in winter in Britain you could ever get the water warm and b) not sure where/how to hang it inside the cubicle. Any suggestions or other ideas? Many thanks. :-)

P.S. I don't have any running water from the tap, always used taps on sites...and as for my research on ebay - I am slightly sceptical ordering from China - no return poss., language often seems a bit vague... but happy to hear other experiences on this.

right the pump he was talking about was the one that goes into the side of your caravan and the end of that into an aquaroll, so when you turn a tap on the power will turn the pump on and you will have water coming from your tap, the problem being is that unless you have a hot water heater it would be a blooming cold shower!

so a cheap alternative would be to get a garden pressure sprayer, which you fill with hot water, and then pump, stand in your shower tray and wet yourself down with that, get soaped up and then spray again to rinse off, the other handy part of that is you have something handy to rinse off the caravan should you have mud and flies on the front!
