We usually put a fleece blanket on top of the inflated airbed with a normal fitted sheet on top, but by morning the sheet and blanket are all over the place due to us both being fidgets. Does anyone know if you can buy sheets for an intex airbed? I've looked on eBay but not sure they would be fit for purpose?
Thanks in advance

We went to a local fabric specialist “Musbury Fabrics” at Helmshore, we chose a regular cotton Queen Size sheet, gave them the measurements for our double SIM, which is two Thermarest DreamTime XL’s.

And they produced a fitted elasticated sheet, perfect fit for our SIM’s, cost was under £20 at the time 2009.

I am sure you will have a similar company in your area.

Hello Lynn
We have a Alwayzaire air bed, to stop the problem your having, and we used to have, I put a king size mattress protector on first, then a mattress topper then the fitted sheet on top of them both, this gives the sheet something to cling to. Hope this helps. Happy future camping. 😊

Is it a regular height airbed or a raised one? If normal height, a fitted mattress protector then a fitted sheet should be fine but, if the airbed is raised there's not a lot you can do to make it stay put.

The previous poster has suggested a mattress topper and that sounds like a good idea if you can accommodate the bulk in the car. Duvalay do portable toppers with zip-on sheets, so you can just roll it out and not worry about the sheets getting tangled. Expensive though.

Alternatively, make your own sheet retainers by using elastics or strings and some Clingon clips, which was what I had done to try and keep my fitted flannel sheet in place when I placed my SIM on top of my camp bed.

Hi
It's a raised one so normal sheets hardly touch the side.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it 😀
