Can anyone tell me where I can buy a camper/trailer to tow behind my mobility scooter. I have a range of 40+ miles and after lockdown want to get OUTDOORS! Thanks🤪
You can buy trailers for mobility scooters. What is required though ? Is it just a trailer to carry a tent & camping gear ? If so search online “mobility scooter trailers” & you will find.
It can be done, I see a guy quite often on his mobility scooter pulling a trailer. I dont understand why he chooses to go down a road with a 50 speed limit where he gets horns blown at him all the time with impatient drivers that have to slow down and wait to pass him. If he went 200yds further on he would come to an island that takes him down a paraellel road with a 20speed limit.
So my only comments are enjoy your trips but choose safe routes where the impatient, ignorant drivers are less prevellent

Is it purely down to "impatience" and/or "ignorance" though, when a "vehicle" is travelling at c. 8mph(?) on a 50mph road?
It's not just excessively high speeds that are downright dangerous!

I thought this referred to sleeping in a Mini! I once had a boyfriend who was the same height as me ( 5' 5" ) who did just that when he came to visit me in college. It was not so much the lack of height but his predilection for ladies' sandals which put me off him...
