Calor Propane in 6kg bottles seems to be hard to get. I did manage to get one at a garden centre, but they only had 2 in stock. I am seeking another, as I normally carry two, but the local farden centre has only 13kg bottles in stock at present.
It might be a bit of a drive for you but we have never had any problems getting the 6kg bottles from the main calor centre in Birkenhead. Phone them first to check supply!
I did try them, but they say that they are closed to the public. Last year was different. They actually delivered a 6kg Lite cylinder from Birkenhead, and on a previous occasion I called in there to collect one.

our local petrol station seems to have loads in the cage on the forecourt.May be worthwhile checking your local garage / calories supplier ?
Our local petrol stations have loads in their cages also, they're all empty! and none of them are Propane.
Is the calorie supplier the local chippie.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Hi George
We tried the main Calor Centre in Liverpool today and got the same message - that they are closed to the public. However, they gave us the name of a supplier in Hunts Cross in Liverpool who delivers around the Liverpool area and they are delivering one to us tomorrow. The supplier is Express Gas https://expressgasdelivery.com
I don’t think they deliver as far as you but you can also pick up from their depot if you don’t mind the trek up to Liverpool and the lady on the phone said they had plenty.
