Depending on awning and Caravan fixings there is more than one size, you need to match both Keder / kader figure of 8 universal awning strip this will attach them together but how high is your caravan rail. Our Caravan door when opening /closing catches slightly on awning.

We tended to use it free standing until we got a Caravan porch awning,

Thanks for your reply. The awning is a prestina air awning. We used to attach it to the van gutter rail using a fig of 8 plastic strip. The van was a low top so easily fitted. We also tried it briefly on a avondale (1985) and it fit the fixing strip so i think the strip will slide straight on. We are concerned the height of the senator caravan may be too high. I dont mind if its at a bit of a stretch but not sure how precise it needs to be?
