You don't mention the make of awning/annex but there are a few things to take into consideration. The length of zip, yes, but also the teeth size/pitch and height where they join. I would ask your manufacturer to confirm before you buy, but some makes can interchange ie Isabella and their sister company Ventura.

That extra info should help anyone out there who knows or has the item that you are looking for.

You could always put a 'Wanted' ad in on-line sites like Preloved, Gumtree or Schpock or in the Classified section of this very forum, most are free of any fees and would reach a wide base of potential customers/donors.

Hi Barry

Generally awning add-ons such as annexes and canopies etc are unique to the specific make of awning. Some makes such as Isabella and Ventura are owned by the same company and can be interchangeable but this is generally not the case for other makes. It usually comes down to the zip. It seems such an insignificant thing but zips come in dozens of teeth sizes and finding a match from a different make is extremely unlikely.

I remember years ago someone used to sell something called a universal annex which didn’t zip on but attached on with some sort of clips or ties. I’m not sure if these are still available but might be worth having a look.

Otherwise you’ll just have to look out for a secondhand one on one of the secondhand selling sites or as has already been suggested, advertise that you’re looking for one and maybe someone might remember they’ve got one in an attic somewhere!

Good luck with your search.

Thank you for your information. that has been my problem, the zip I have tried a universal didn't like it. I have put messages out on forum sites, but I think I am looking for a needle in a hay stack. Thanks again for your help 👍🤞
