Hi. I have a Vango turbo pump for our airbeam. I have recently bought two paddle boards and was hoping to use the turbo to inflate the boards. Unfortunately the standard fitting is slightly different and doesn’t fit the boards. Equally the hose that came with the boards won’t screw on to the pump.

I understand the fitting for the paddle boards is a Halkey Roberts Adapter.

Has anybody had any joy using the Vango Turbo with paddle boards/inflatables?

like you we thought the same thing when we bought our kayaks, but what stopped us using just the one pump was that when on the water you really should be taking the pump with you in case of any problems on the water and having to top up with air, and in the case of of you loosing it in the water you would end up having to be buying another pump! also because we store our caravan away from home that meant having to remember to bring the pump home with us (and back again to the caravan) instead of just keeping the correct kit with the awning/kayak

Hi I have just bought the same electric pump solely for sup. Did you manage to get attachment. Just wondering if should just return get another but bought as have compatible battery charger. Thanks in advance Stacey

No, afraid not I tried various but either didn’t fit or took so long it was better to use the hand pump

Worked on my vango pump, used to pump up my airedale 6. Not perfect thread match, but not a problem. I didn't even use tape around the outside, just screw in till tight.

Hi all, i am a vango air beam owner. The adaptor described is exactly what I’m looking for, so it will work on my paddle board as well. Unfortunately the link to the adaptor no links to the item on EBay. Could someone kindly send a photo or another link to the item please, so i can try to track one down and order up.
