I have an adria altia 502dk 2004. It's stuck on our seasonal site at the moment so I have no access to measure it until March. I'm trying to work out if a 420 porch awning will fit. When looking at specs/dimensions obviously the flat bit of the top of the awning rail is not included. BUT the internal length of the caravan is mentioned (5m). Is it fair to assume the internal length and top awning rail are similar in length? And therefore a 4.2 awning will not be too big for my caravan?

Surely that would depend on whether the caravan roof is flat throughout its entire length? Many caravans have a slope at the front, so the flat part would start from the end of the slope to the rear of the caravan. Maybe someone on here has one of the same model and could measure theirs.

Maybe one of your neighbours on the site could measure it? Given the cost & hassle of getting one the wrong size, it might even be worth a day trip, if that’s feasible.

960 is a full awning, the OP is looking for a porch awning.

The awning finder on the Bradcot site only tells you full awnings, it won't do porch as it's a personal preference thing.

Hi fiona. Unfortunately the site is locked up until March with no access. So can't get a caravan neighbour to check or go and visit myself. So that's how I find myself in this predicament

Thanks, yes I've been able to get the overall awning size as you say 960 and size 13 but that's the full awning size. Just trying to work out the measurement of the flat bit at the top of the rail for a porch awning
