Interesting comment in the description about being fully weatherproof and able to heat an outdoor area 3×4m. When used indoors the interior surfaces are heated by the radiated heat causing convective heating.

The Switch controller is recommended, the unit will run at Max without it. This could be too much for a smaller area or just not needed. It will allow having adequate heating at a lower power consumption.

These are commercial products, the price reflects this. The heater will come with a Certificate of Safety (no “bad” light emitted from unit), there are cheap ones out there that do not! They have to be wired, a DIYer should be OK with supplying suitable cable and fit, I told my insurance company what I had done, they were fine with it. Others may wish have an electrician do the work and send the receipt of work to their Insurance company.

What may be of importance to some, is that the heaters are totally silent in use like the oil and air convector heaters.

There are many horribly cheap and inefficient units out there that have given a bad memory to those that tried them. This may be why this type of heating is overlooked.
