These bottles are getting increasingly hard to get hold of and this has been the case for a while now but i thought this was down to the psndemic. I use mine for my cadac so what does everyone else use? Is there sn adapter so the disposable canisters can be used? I don't want to go to the expense of buying a different type of cylinder if possible. I found this on here earlier, thankfully both of mine are un affected but empty!

Usually plenty of cylinders available of gumtree or Facebook marketplace for free or a small outlay. The regulator on most stoves or cadacs can pretty much be changed to match the bottle you have anyway. I recently picked up an almost empty large gaslight (Flogas) cylinder for £5, then exchanged it for a full version of the small cylinder. Lightweight and will last me for years.

yeh , the problem is'nt the gas cylinders, its the gas, especially calor gas ,which is almost unobtainable in the smaller cylinders, right now. Maybe some of the other suppliers may have the smaller bottles , but you would probably have to change the regulator

Thanks for the replies so far, I have found lots of options but am currently away so I have hatched a plan with my father in law (I.e. pinching his for now!)

Flogas do an equivalent cylinder, but it's a 20mm Clip On coupling.
