I have one called a towel and it works very well.
A cordless electric hair drier would require a huge battery to be practicable.

ok that one only runs on cold air when used as a cordless, for heat you need to be plugged in. only 1250w which is less than useless for my hair, as it would be quicker to use a towel and then go au natural (wind) if i was in that much of rush then it would be sit in the car with the blowers on resulting in much quicker drying

Heating requires a large amount of electric power. I think I have found the one you are looking at on Amazon.
The description seems to say on battery it only blows cold air and requires mains power for hot air.
Hope that helps.

Never need or use one, I have fine hair which dries quickly.

From a technical point of view (my background) when it comes to battery powered devices and heating, especially anything considered hand holdable, something has to give! Heating consumes LOTS of power, so either it's not going to heat up much, or it's only going to heat for a VERY short time is the bottom line, or worst case, both!
You might be interested in this review of some dryers on the market, https://ukbeautyroom.com/cordless-hair-dryer-uk/ , my reaction to it was HOW MUCH!!!!!! ..... and all for pretty low performance, certainly not what you would get from a typical home mains powered one and what you might expect. At best I think you are looking at a lukewarm draft, or a cool breeze! Have you ever tried a mains powered 'travel' hairdryer? .... they are about 3x or 4x more powerful than these and performance can be pretty mediocre!
Manufacturers claims on performance are usually tested in ideal laboratory conditions, in the real world, performance and battery life will almost certainly be less.
As the above article mentions, why are none of the big names tapping into a large and lucrative market? ..... because they would sully their good reputations with very poor performing products! What is on the market, obscure (no doubt Chinese) brands with no reputation to loose! Think that says a lot!
Personally, camped in some pretty harsh conditions in the long gone days when I had lush flowing locks, always got by OK with just a towel.
PS try reading the reviews on Amazon about the model you considered!
PPS seem to recall a similar post request a while ago, may be worth looking that up and see responses.

my hair is very thick and has a mind of its own too. keeping it wrapped in the towel for as long as possible helps and only use fingers not a brush to pull thr the hair, spray in conditioners help weight the hair down and only washing in the morning to give it all day to dry naturally. hairdryers for caravanning/camping have never been a good idea, but if im really stuck i have been known to use the hand dryers in the shower blocks too aswell as the car vents
