After a 150kg rated £50+ camping chair from Amazon buckled under me (and yes, I'm a larger lady but nowhere near that limit!), (thankfully, I wasn't seriously injured,) I decided to invest in something, hopefully, sturdier. I opted for the Nash Big Daddy chair. I find it extremely comfortable and, so far, very sturdy and reliable. A great feature is the adjustable height legs, as it's intended for use on sloping river banks, so you can lounge on it or sit to a high table with it. I debated whether to purchase the Daddy Long Legs model, as I have a very long body and like higher back rests, but I find the Big Daddy more than adequate.
One drawback is the weight and bulk of the chair. Fortunately, we take a van with us, so that's not an issue for us, but I appreciate it would put a lot of people off. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with it. I have a spinal injury so feeling comfortable and safe is very important to me.
