Hi there,
We are changing our van and awning - as such sleeping arrangements are also changing.
Our son (19yrs) still comes with us as he has aspergers - he is going to be sleeping in the awning. It is a big awning and as such we will not be adding an annexe. However we would like hime to have a separate space in the awning, that he can pretty much sleep and stand up in, so 2 or 3 berth in size. What solutions do you use or recommend??
We are thinking preferably something freestanding such as a full height 2 or 3 man tent that we can just locate within the awning (not pegged down obvs)?? But most seem to be low.
Or maybe such as the Vango freestanding inner tent, but it is dome shaped and maybe just not quite tall enough other than at the very centre.??
There are loads of inner tents that I see but they have to hang on the awning poles??
What solutions do you use or suggest. Anyone found a full height 2 or 3 man tent??
Many thanks
Pam

Thank you - yes that oztent dimensions are great, but like you say out of budget.
Its a big step for him to sleep in the awning, and he will not sleep outside in a separate tent, hence us looking for a solution within the awning…… a step towards independence for him too.
Ice fishing tents looked fab, but no sewn in groundsheet, so also a no no…..

this is what you need, it just hangs from the awning roof poles
