We went a bit crazy and bought the Dock and Bay, they are quite amazing.
Have to say dont feel that nice to dry with but they do the job drying you and are dry themselves really quick and pack away to a tiny back.
Yes. Use them all the time. Dry quicker & take up less room so idea for a camping situation. Hand wash & dry them quickly as well. I get all mine from Decathlon.
Mountain Warehouse, the smooth ones, and use a patting motion to dry.
I tried woven/looped type and found they did not soak up water as quickly as the smooth ones.

I now use them to dry the car/caravan after washing, as hand towels and on holiday. They work well and are easy to clean.
A pack of ten cost just over £2ea including carriage. They 40cm x 60cm (300gsm weight), my choice, blue, with 30% Polyamide. They also do an ECO cloth at 20% but they are smaller and lighter in weight.
