what do you use

I am trying to find a decent salt and pepper shaker with a lid so I can seal it up for traveling that is also easy to clean.

any reccomendationds please

We use a rock salt grinder & a whole pepper grinder. They travel upright.

I use a Co-op own brand salt and pepper grinder. They're refillable and have a lid for the grinder bit.

All the major supermarkets have own brand versions.

We use ones from Aldi as they have two flaps on the top, one for a spoonful and the other is for shaking. Last ages as they hold a decent amount of salt or pepper.

My salt and pepper grinders with lids came from Aldi some years ago, very cheap.

I also carry a double-ended salt and pepper shaker with lids on me, in a bag or in one of the pockets of my shorts, however, I can't remember paying that much as stated in this Amazon listing:

Possibly showing our age but we have an old pair of Tupperware cellars that are still going strong.
Must be the best part of 50 years old!

So do we, and they have their own 'docking base' that stops the residue contents out of the grinders going all over the place. Got them from Dunelm, about £15.
