A lot of the sites we have been to, the pitches have had either their own tap or a tap with double outlets for sharing between 2 pitches
Sadly that is not the norm. Some do have service pitches but not all by any means.

I have two aquarolls and an electronic devise that sits in the one thats in use, when this rattles and no water comes from the taps it indicates that its the time to change aquarolls.
Once I've changed them over I fill the used aquaroll ready for next time
To check how much is in the aquaroll is done by a kick or by lifting
The answer is Bluetooth Scales. The clue, in the OP, he lifts the container to see how heavy it is. 1 litre of water weighs 1 kilogram (or near enough).
With the Aquaroll balanced on bathroom scales and an App on a smartphone, problem solved.
P.S. There may be a few minor details to sort out, I'll leave that up to boblynn.
------------- Never argue with fools........They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
We have 2 aquarolls so if one runs out we swap it and fill at our leisure.
Very useful, when you use the onboard shower, or when it takes a while to refill one!

Many thanks for all your replies. It seems that such a device may only have a limited appeal to folks without an on-board water tank, folks who exclusively use their own facilities and those who mostly use CL's or non facility sites all year round.

Thanks again for your feedback.
I wouldnt take the word of half a dozen people on here. I tell you now, you market such a device, and folk will buy it. After motorhomers (who have the most disposable income to less sense ratio) caravanners are right up there with the 'keeping up with the Jones' when it comes to new gadgets someone else may not have.
If you think you have a workable idea, let me know, (not the actual idea itself) i may be able to help bring it to market.
