Got the father in law coming to stay for a few weeks next month, and was planning on a few midweek camping trips (my weekend is Monday-Tuesday) till I remembered he was coming.
Have to see if he'd acutally be interested, but I though, what the hell we could take him along - we have a 2 bedroom tent after all and it's not like you need loads of kit for a short stay. Thing is, I know he suffers from a bit of a bad back, so I was thinking he might find it difficult to have to sleep so close to the floor (as in getting up and down).
I've never used camp beds - are they any good, and how high are they off the floor. Alternatively, would strapping two single airbeds together work? Those high rise airbeds are more than a little bit expensive to justify buying one for a one-off.
