Can anyone recommend someone who supplies and fits upvc decking for static caravans in the Hartlepool area, as my mam and dad have just bought a caravan at deanmouth, they are going to ask the site manager but i thought i would ask all you knowledgeable people first.
I've watched your thread with its little blue face ‘cos no one is prepared to answer your question. I've never heard of UPVC decking.Meanwhile I 'phone my mate who's a manager on a large site on the East Yorkshire coast. He says he’s never heard of UPVC decking. He thinks it might not be appropriate because it would be slippy when wet.The 600 odd vans on his site all use wood. They are allowed to have a one metre wide deck along the length of their van extended to 2 metres for no more than one third of that length.I must admit they all look very functional and quite nice.

------------- Treat the earth well. It was not given to you by your parents. It was loaned to you by your children.
The site has said you can no longer build wooden decks and by 2009 all wood decks must be removed. I have found a lot of companies on the web but none are local.
I heard that about the wood too. I will dig around and see what i can come up with.
