When I was a tenter and switched from airbed to camp bed + SIM, I bought a Therm-a-rest Luxury Map XL to put on my camp bed.
It was very comfortable on its own directly on the floor. So good that I bought a second one to make into a double with a set of their coupling straps, in case I had a visitor to camp with me.
