They are brilliant, bought a couple of bath sized ones from Mountain Warehouse a few years ago and now wouldnt use anything else when were away in our caravan. Dry really quickly and take up very little room. I used my C & CC discount.
I use a sea to summit Tek towel. As light as the micro fibre but you don't have to dab to get dry. You just use it as a normal towel.

Brilliant...think I'll keep an eye on Lidl/Aldi and see if they come up for sale first. Might try them as beach towels first and see how we get on with them. Thanks for the replies.
Try Mountain Warehouse but wait until there is 20% off code (or use caravan club membership for discount if you are a member). They work surprisingly well and dry fairly quickly.
I bought the Mountain Warehouse ones 10 or 11 years ago and can highly recommend them. They dry really quickly. I've two hand towel size ones from Aldi around the same time and they too work well.
I used to get scout leader discount, but as I'm no longer in Scouts and my two have moved on from scouting too we no longer get it.
Decathlon. We've had ours for almost 20 years, and they're still going strong. Light weight, super absorbent, easy to wash and quick to dry.
That said, environmental concerns are serious, I don't know if there is a more ethical option, maybe bamboo?
