Hi, further to that the camping and carravaning club site has some downloadable info. sheets on electrics and camping which are also accesible to non members.(and free!)
hook-ups must be waterproof and have a r.c.d. (residual current device) on them which trips the electric if you get a short circuit due to water or damage thus preventing electrocution. does'nt need to rain as you get condensation in a tent overnight as i'm sure you know.
I wish e-bay would stop people listing things like that as most sites won't allow hookups like the one in your picture. I am sure there will be many dissapointed campers this summer and I pray they are not injured by these truly dangerous items.
