The Campingaz Camping Kitchen 2 Grill & Go R Camping Stove won't give a damn what refillable/exchangeable cylinder you supply if from, propane or butane, so long as the cylinder has the correct regulator on it.
By the way, a 4.5Kg cylinder is BUTANE not Propane, the Propane cylinders are 3.9Kg. In the case of Calor, it's the same physical cylinder (but painted different colour!), just the contents giving the different weights because of their differing chemical properties.
Campingaz used to be pure Butane (summer use only), but I believe is now a butane, propane and isobutane blend for year round use, but still OBSCENELY expensive, and unless you are planning European trips, where it is the only 'universally' exchangeable cylinder, there is not a lot to recommend it for UK use! At only 2.7Kg of gas, a 907 would give you about 9 hours flat out run time with the above stove. A 3.9Kg Calor or Flowgas propane would give near 13.5 hours flat out use. Clearly, 'normal' use would give much longer run times.
For either a Calor or Flogas PROPANE cylinder, your existing Butane regulator wont fit, you will need a POL 5/8” LH male fit regulator (like this: https://www.flogas.co.uk/product/37mbar-propane-regulator?c=cylinder-accessories), widely available from most camping outlets. You will also need a suitable length of 8mm bore low pressure gas hose (high pressure hose is OK, but not strictly necessary) and a couple of matching 'Jubilee' clips. It's wise to keep hose length to as short as necessary, excess length presents a trip hazard and simply more hose to suffer potential damage and leaks! Gas hose has a limited life of no more than 7 years (ideally 5 years) from manufacture (date stamped on hose), so new stove and new regulator, is the ideal time to fit a new hose too and not reuse any existing hose.
You may come across news/stories of Calor discontinuing their 4.5KG Butane and 3.9Kg Propane cylinders, well they did, beginning of last year, but bowed to user pressure and re-introduced them again latter part of last year! The hiccup in supply that caused should be all sorted my now, so you have a choice of Calor or Flowgas, but of course they are not interchangeable on exchange for refill!
You'd be daft to pay Calor/Flogas (circa £50) for a new cylinder rental agreement on a Propane cylinder. S/H cylinders are widely available on FB marketplace, ebay, classified ads etc. for far less, and fully acceptable for refill exchange. Calor no longer seem to swap cylinders between Butane and Propane groups, so you can't swap your existing 7kg Butane for a 3.9Kg Propane! Worth asking a retailer though, they may be flexible!
You can of course use up any remaining Butane you have on the new stove.
