All down to your power demand. What 'emergency power' requirements? Phone charging and inflators are happy with a 12v supply.
As an inverter converts leisure battery 12v DC to 240v AC, If you have no need for 240v appliances to be powered there may be no advantage having an inverter.

Not all air beds work off a 12 volt supply. I have one that has a built-in 240 volt pump. Phone chargers however, are a different matter. They will happily charge off 12 volts.

Every time that you use the unverter to generate mains voltage you will loose some of that power due to ineffieiencies in the system. It's therefore better to find equipment that will all work off of 12volts. As said, just how much power, and for how long, will point you in the direction of leisure battery or power bank, (which is only another battery at the end of the day)
