Have a Look here first http://www.tgincar.co.uk/ This company I've delt with for many things and never had any problems with. I've also found if you phone them or if you can visit them for the product you want they will usually drop the price from the one displayed online.

I too am looking for a small TV, I looked at the ones on ebay. They appear to come from Hong Kong, so you have to pay shipping about £30-40, then insurance £6-£10 and then when it arrives in this country, you have import tax of about £20 - £40 , so it is not much cheaper that buying from a uk site, then if it is wrong or you are not happy its a lot of hassel to send back. I am thimking abpout the ones  from tgincar, but ask the same question as you can anybody recomment them as good sets?

The one on TGincar looks the same as the one on ebay, and the ebay one is a UK seller so  no import taxes. Think i'll have a bid on that one . Thanks

Hi epavelin, I have just spoken to tgincar about the 8" and after a lot of disscussion with them and their recommendation I have ordered the 7" so it will be here next week will let you know then. They did say the 7" was better looking and more stable and a better picture and reception, and they sold a lot to lorry drivers! This does not really answer your question!

Thanks georgese5, hope the new TV works out ok. Interesting that they recommend the 7" over the 8". I was thinking of the 8" because I want a slightly bigger picture really. Also, I don't really want a widescreen model. Maybe I'll just hold out and save up for a 10"!

I got one just like in the original link.

Order through EBAY from hongKong.  No import tax to pay, paid about £60-70 and its great!!.  No problems, would recommend it.
