Just been away having bought a 3 way EHC following on from other posts here. It was great to have all the creature comforts in the tent but one thing that I found was I couldn't fit a transformer type plug into it ie for charging mobile phone or charging torches. Is there anything I can do to get round this ?

If it's a normal square pin plug I cannot see why you should have any problem. Is it just stiff, as some of these units seem to be? I would try inserting and removing a plug with three brass pins a number of times to see if it will free up a bit.

you are not very clear  on what you mean, is it the cover in the way are simlar ,if you get one of the adaptors that you can plug two or more plugs in one socket that may give you the clearance I have to do that in the van for some of the small transformers as the plugs don`t have alot of clearance around them,

I know what you mean we have the same problem.

What you have to do is try and only use one transformer plug at a time and plug it into the bottom socket. What we do is charge the phone at night time when we only need the fridge and light which are on normal leads and charge the torch in the day time .

I s'pose I wasn't too clear ! Its the cover on the EHU that is in the way of the more rigid cabling from the transformer type plugs. I'll be buying myself one of those plug adaptor blocks to get round it - thanks geoffb.
