We enquired about a tow bar for our scenic when we purchased it from Renault - their quote was very expensive but they suggested another garage locally that could do it cheaper (strange but true). Can't remember what we paid first time but it cost us £90 to have the tow bar transfered to our new scenic, again a local garage was recommended by renault
Thanks for those, will do some ringing around, Braithwaites is not too far away - no point buying a trailer if we haven't already got a towbar is there!
We got our towbar fitted by a local place in Glasgow, single electric was £170.00 (our Scenic is a 1998 I think - R reg). This was an average price as we tried a few places. Didnt go to Renault though - not brave enough to ask!!

I am in the same postion. I have scenic 52 plate, I have been quoted for a single standard bar between £170 and £230 that was in Fife/Dundee area. I am thinking of installing it myself, ??
