hubby has been faffing about with the fc and has winged about getting a spare gas bottle, I have just picked on up from the free ads but its butane, our main gas bottle is propane, question is do i need to get a different regulator or can we just swap over the one we have now when we eventually run out, which will be when we are in a remote spot after shop hours and cold and hungry!!!  sods law really

You need a 28-30 mbar regulator for butane, and 37 mbar regulator for propane.

the bottle that we have just got is brand, well its full and unused, so what do you think i should do, get another regulator for now and use it then swap it over or see if calor would exchange it for a propane one and then it saves me buying a regulator which would only get used for a couple of weeks and then end up in the drawer its not that im being tight but along with all the other bits and bobs in the shed it all mounts up. we only paid 3 quid for the full one, could just take it and pay the full price for the exchange.
