I have a "cheap and nasty" tent bought off e-bay.
contrary to what is being said by people who do not have any personal experience of them, they do not all leak, they do not all have missing poles and they do not all blow away if somebody f**ts.
Agreed that you do get what you pay for, I got a great tent for £100, it kept me dry in the worst of Northumberlands' weather at the end of last October.
Please be constructive with your critisism, if you don't have any experience of these cheap options, please do not put potential campers off by making false allegations. Not everybody can afford a Khyam or Vango, and I've seen these "top" makes with problems of their own. by all means give newbies advice, but it needs to be fair comment and not unsound opinion.
