i am looking at getting either a 12 volt cool bag or fridge, i want to run this from my ehu, wht do i need

Most places that sell electric coolboxes & fridges also sell the mains to 12v adapter, they're usually about £20.

Hi cbfc,
We just bought our Coolbox from towsure (at top of page) and we bought a power converter from Mitchells, Look for Campingaz Euro Transformer under: Cooking Equipment >Storage: Powered Coolers
The coolbox works a treat on my EHU, and also, once you have the converter you can plug in any 12v accessories you may have, air pump, etc.
The coolbox will also run from your car cigarette lighter, but I only do this whilst my engine is running on long journeys, I read on this site that they can kill your battery in no time, be warned!

Check wht the coolbox/fridge comes with.  Our firdge came with both car and mains adaptor - there is a switch on the back for AC/DC power.  However or rather expensive cool box only came with a car adaptor.  Apparently you have to buy the mains adaptor separately.

No good to you now but aldi`s were selling a electric coolbox which could be plugged into car lighter,could also be plugged straight into EHU and also had a euro plug too

The performance was excellent milk was ice cold and butter was solid.

A good capacity size and unbeatable price of  £29.99.

There`s bargains out there

Hi all, I just got cool bargain....I think ne way ...from woolworths...its a heated blanket that comes with a 12v power pack. Also with mains adaptor for charging too...all for just over £15 quid was reduced from £29.99 and before that it was over £60 quid. What is a bonus too is that it powers my 12v cool box which before i could only run from the car.   Oh and it also says but i havent checked if it works will start car too...and another thing ...it comes with a lovely bag to hold it in which is probably worth £15 quid on its own. Not forgettin on those chilly nights you got the blanket heated up to keep you warm. What a bargain

OH I forgot too...it will run allsorts of thngs like tv radio mobile charger,,,loadsa stuff. You look in the section that has toolboxes and torches things like that in woolworths if anybody wants one .
