yes I got two from tescos last year in north wales, brilliant, but by god they take some getting out even waggleing them they refuse to budge!!! some times i feel like using a rope to "my gas guzzling 4 x4"
Bought a cheapie with metal poles in France it was next to useless -restitched the channels forthe poles and usaed the fabric with our old wooden poles - works a treat. I'd say look carefully at cheap windbreaks with metalpoles - they don't always manage in a breeze. Nor would they stand up to stumbling drunken campers if any of the other posts on this thread are correct.

I used to rather like these portable barricades - I've done cheap and stripey and I've done Khyam (which, incidentally was 'pants'). However, I'd like to think that I've seen the light now and we've 'opened up'.
It does mean our Cadac keeps getting blown out by the wind - but hey-ho at least we've plenty of fellow caravanners to talk to about it!
We made our own windbreak in France last month. We needed something to shade the coldbox (for the beer!) and we wanted to hide the coolbox out of sight (motorsport campsite = lots of chance of your beer being nicked!).
We had some of the plastic fence posts that horsey people use to put fencing onto - these are about a metre high and have thin metal tips that go into the ground easily and stay up well (you can buy packs of them in Decathlon really cheaply). We then cable tied one of the woven type cheapy beach mats between the poles and voila!!
I've got cheapy stripey windbreaks at home but have always found them a bind to take as they are so long, take up lots of room in the car and hard work to bang into the ground. Our DIY version was fab!
I still reckon on the Kyham, you only have to push the points into the ground a little way, carefull pegging of the guys, each end out only 45 degrees, put it up on my own in 10 mins......................
