Think you've got us a bit wrong Speedi, it's not that we watch tv 24/7 some folk just take one for the odd occasion (pretty rare) that it rains the whole week and kids get fed up of all the millions of activities you've taken for them including the hours you've played cards/monopoly/cluedo/uno/rummikub etc.  I have taken a tv camping once and watched an episode of Big Brother after having spent the day in the tent due to rain. Other than that it's just fab having the time to spend together with nothing to do and all the time in the world.  Still I've got to say that when my kids get older (they're 8 and 10) I'll take one if it suits them. That's not to say we don't party, hope to meet up on a UKCS meet!

we do take one with us but i think judging by most of the posts .. most camp sites must be conected to the national grid to keep all these tv's and ps's going do none of you socialise with others on site ???? just wait til we get to the Horsham meet in august we will show you tv addicts how to camp and party if you venture out of your vans
You definately have it wrong, i am a party animal and don't watch tv at all, ask anyone who's met me on a meet

We went on our first camping trip a couple of weeks ago and didn't know whether to take the tv or not. In the end we did and it came in handy on rainy nights, we didn't whatch it all the time but it was there if we wanted it.
