Thanks for the replies it is my first camping trip for many years and I was trying to avoid buying a gas cooker as I have already got a single stove and was hoping to take a barbeque, the slow cooker and the single burner.
I would prefere not to ! I know when we use it at home the whole house smellls of whatever we are cooking would be awful in a tent !
But then again I love cooking outside ,its one of the reasons I like camping ,Thought maybe it could be handy if it was raining but then you would have to know in the morning that it would be raining a tea time to put it on ??
Not in a tent but have used mine in the motorhome & in the folding camper. Works brill with cook in sauces. I've even used it when not on EHU, running it via an inverter, but it does flatten the battery if left on for a long time.
You don't smell it if you're out & about enjoying the fresh air.
