Anyone tried one of these? I'd be interested since it looks like a good price for a combined BBQ and Firepit... Looks like it's good for logs not just charcoal and hopefully fairly sturdy.
Sorry not seen one being used anywhere but felt sorry for your blue smiley face. Looks as if it would be quite heavy but could be useful to use as a camp fire on sites where they are not allowed, after you've finished cooking the supper, of course.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
Yep, that's what I was thinking. Also maybe I could use it at home on the patio for the same reason- to cook then to warm up by.
Ok well looks like I'll be the official UKCampsite tester... ours will arrive on Monday.
Annoyingly when I went to Argos to collect my online reservation, they said 'oh sorry we couldn't find it and we couldn't contact you to let you know', which was a bit lame since somewhere or other they certainly have my email address. Anyway she made up for it I suppose by arranging a free delivery instead.
I'll post a review up next week. If it's rubbish we'll just get a refund, so no big risk.
My sister has one very similar, she brings it when we all meet up for the annual camping holiday. It was excellent, did the BBQ then all sat round it later as a camp fire. Kept the kids occupied too for a while every day searching for wood to put on it. It is quite bulky but as she had a Volvo estate + caravan wasn't a problem.
